Contract Management
We will assist the client in developing a comprehensive process for implementing new contracts. Communication is by far the most important aspect for successful contract start up. We recommend that the pertinent facts required by disparate departments be accomplished through the use of Contract Briefs, in accordance with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) instruction. These briefs, in conjunction with a short kick-off meeting, assures that everyone is on board at the beginning.

The primary aim for any contractor is to be able to provide a government auditor or contracting officer with complete, concise, and relevant information as rapidly as possible. To that end, it is important to know that doing business with the Federal Government is subject to the requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and supplemental regulations utilized by separate agencies, such as the Department of Defense FAR (DFAR), NASA FAR, and Department of Energy FAR. The requirements embodied in these regulations are mandatory and non-compliance can result in fines or imprisonment. CCA can assist you in this area by developing a compliant, cohesive contracting environment.
