Teaming Agreements
Teaming Agreements are sometimes provided by large contractors when they want a specialized smaller contractor to provide services for a proprosal.
A proposal effort can entail quite a large amount of man-hours to prepare. A small contractor cannot always provide proposal efforts without some assurance that a large contractor will not choose someone else after the contract is awarded. Thus, they offer teaming agreements to assure the smaller contractor that their efforts are safe if a contract is awarded.
